Information about the processing of personal data
Your data security is important to us, and we therefore place great emphasis on handling your data responsibly. Below you can read how Cillouettes processes personal data about you when we act as data controller. You can also read about the rights you have in connection with our processing.

In connection with the operation of our business, we process a range of personal data. We do this to serve you as best as possible. We mainly collect and process ordinary (non-sensitive) data.

Which personal data we collect and the purpose
We process personal data about you in a variety of situations. Read more below about our processing in the different situations.
Visitors to Cillouettes' websites
When you visit Cillouettes' websites (e.g., https://www.Cillouettes.dk/), Cillouettes may process information about your IP address as well as information about your computer, device, and browser.

We also use data to show you content on our and others' sites based on your activities and preferences, and to limit the number of times you see the same content.
Our basis for processing is our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) or your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and the Danish cookie regulation § 3).
Customers and potential customers of Cillouettes
When you are a customer/potential customer of Cillouettes or a contact person for one of Cillouettes’ customers/potential customers, Cillouettes processes personal data about your name, company name, company address, work phone/mobile number, email address, title, your purchases, payment information, as well as information from publicly available sources and other information you provide to us.
We process personal data to fulfill agreements with our customers, to deliver services, invoice, maintain statistics, perform quality control, and to maintain our customer records and provide general service, marketing, and sales to our customers and potential customers.
Our basis for processing is the agreement with you (General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b) or our legitimate interests (General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f).
Recipients of marketing and competition participants
When you receive marketing from Cillouettes or participate in competitions, we process information about your name, company name, company address, work phone/mobile number, email address, title, and product interest. We also process information about your preferences regarding marketing or communication, as well as your use of the marketing we send you (including, for example, whether you have opened an email from us, whether the email has been read, and which links you have clicked), and information you otherwise provide to us.
We process your information for the purpose of marketing our company and its products, creating and managing your subscription to marketing, as well as managing competitions, drawing winners, etc. We use information about your preferences and your usage to understand how our customers receive our marketing and to improve marketing towards you and our other customers going forward.
We only send marketing materials to you via email, SMS, or other electronic channels when we have obtained your consent, where required by marketing law regulations.
For our newsletter, we have established separate terms: When you sign up for the Cillouettes newsletter, you give Cillouettes consent to process your personal data (General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a and the Marketing Act § 10) solely for the purpose of receiving newsletters and marketing materials. You can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter (General Data Protection Regulation Article 7, paragraph 3), which is done by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the newsletter. Your information will then be deleted unless we have another lawful basis that allows us to continue processing the personal data.
We also use data about you to show you content on our and others’ sites based on your activities and preferences, to limit the number of times you see the same content, and to measure the effectiveness of our content and marketing.
Our basis for processing is our legitimate interests (General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f) and/or your consent (General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a and the Marketing Act § 10).
Partners and/or suppliers to Cillouettes
When you are a partner or supplier to Cillouettes or a contact person at a partner/supplier, we process information about your name, company name, business address, work phone number, email address, and title as well as publicly available information and other information you provide to us.
We process the information for contract management as well as to receive goods and services from our suppliers and partners and, where relevant, to fulfill agreements with our customers.
Our basis for processing is the agreement with you (General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b) or our legitimate interests (General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f).
Other general purposes of the processing
We may enrich the information described above with information from other sources. This can be publicly available information – including information we obtain through commonly accessible sources.
Information that we have collected for the purposes described above may also be processed by Cillouettes to comply with laws and regulations that Cillouettes is subject to in connection with the operation of our business or to fulfill various reporting or disclosure obligations under applicable laws and regulations (General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c).
If Cillouettes sells all or part of our business or sells or transfers our assets or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or a significant part of our business, Cillouettes may transfer your information to the party or parties involved in the transfer as part of this transaction, when this can be done in accordance with the law (General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f).
Finally, Cillouettes may process your personal data to enforce or defend our or third parties’ legal rights or legitimate interests, where this is necessary, objective, and proportionate (General Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c).
Sharing your data with others
Cillouettes may disclose your personal data to other suppliers and/or service providers in connection with the ordinary operation of our business.
Cillouettes may also disclose your personal data to a public authority in situations where we are specifically obligated to disclose your personal data under legislation and notification obligations to which we are subject.

We try to limit the disclosure of personal data in personally identifiable form and thus the disclosure of information that can be attributed to you personally.
Cillouettes also entrusts your personal data to data processors, for example in connection with the administration of our IT systems and marketing activities. Our data processors only process your personal data for our purposes and under our instructions. We enter into data processing agreements with our data processors to ensure the necessary security is in place and to protect the data and comply with our data protection obligations.

Retention period, data integrity, and security
Your personal data is not stored longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. When your data is no longer needed, we will ensure it is deleted in a secure and responsible manner.
It is our policy to protect personal data by taking sufficient technical and organizational security measures.
Your rights
As a data subject, you have a number of rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. If you want to exercise your rights, you must contact us.
You can – unconditionally and at any time – withdraw any consent. This can be done by sending an email to us (see email above). Withdrawal of your consent will not have any negative impact. However, it may mean that we can no longer fulfill specific requests from you. Withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before it is withdrawn. Furthermore, it will not affect any processing carried out on another lawful basis.
You can also – unconditionally and at any time – object to our processing when it is based on our legitimate interest.
Your rights also include the following:
- Right to access: You have the right to access the personal data we process about you.
- Right to rectification: You have the right to have incorrect personal data about yourself corrected and incomplete personal data completed.
- Right to erasure (the right to be forgotten): In special cases, you have the right to have personal data about you deleted before the time we would normally delete your data.
- Right to restriction of processing: In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted. If you have the right to restriction, we may only process the data – except for storage – with your consent, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or to protect a person or important public interests.
